Shipping policy
This Shipping and Delivery Policy governs the shipment and delivery of products purchased from Actxa through our online store. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out below.
Actxa offers international shipping to selected countries including Australia, Brunei, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam. Orders may be fulfilled from Singapore or from regional fulfilment partners depending on product availability, operational considerations, and destination country.
This policy is structured in accordance with common international direct-to-consumer shipping practices adopted by global consumer electronics and wearable technology brands operating cross-border.
Order Processing
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Orders are typically processed within one to three business days following successful payment authorization. Processing times may be extended during periods of high order volume, product launches, promotional campaigns, inventory transfers, or public holidays.
Actxa reserves the right to delay shipment where additional verification is required, including but not limited to payment validation, address confirmation, or fraud prevention checks.
Upon dispatch, customers will receive a shipment confirmation email containing tracking information where available.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Timelines
Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Transit times may vary depending on courier operations, customs clearance procedures, destination location, and unforeseen logistical disruptions.
Typical delivery estimates are as follows:
Singapore orders are generally delivered within 3 to 5 business days.
Asia Pacific destinations typically require 5 to 10 business days.
Europe and United Kingdom deliveries typically require 7 to 14 business days.
United States deliveries typically require 7 to 14 business days.
These timelines exclude customs clearance, regulatory inspections, or delays beyond Actxa’s control.
Actxa shall not be liable for delays once the shipment has been handed over to the courier.
Shipping timelines for other countries may vary depending on the destination.
Shipping Fees
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on destination country, shipping method, order weight, and promotional eligibility. From time to time, Actxa may offer free shipping to selected markets or during promotional periods. Such offers are subject to change without prior notice.
Custom Duties, Import Taxes, and VAT
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are determined solely by the local customs authority and are outside the control of Actxa.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout, all customs duties, import taxes, and related charges shall be the responsibility of the customer. The courier or customs authority may contact the customer directly to arrange payment prior to delivery.
This shipping model is consistent with international direct-to-consumer shipping practices. For example, certain wearable brands state that customers may be responsible for applicable import taxes and customs duties depending on the country of delivery.
Similarly, international shipments of wearable devices may be subject to local VAT or import charges payable upon arrival, depending on destination regulations and declared value.
Failure to pay customs duties or taxes may result in shipment delays, refusal of delivery, or return to sender. Any costs incurred due to refusal, return, or storage may be deducted from the refund amount.
Actxa shall not be responsible for customs clearance delays, import restrictions, or additional charges imposed by local authorities.
Shipping Address & Delivery Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information. Actxa shall not be liable for failed delivery attempts resulting from incorrect address details, missing contact information, or inability to reach the recipient.
If a shipment is returned due to incorrect address or delivery refusal, additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment.
Risk of loss and title for products pass to the customer upon delivery to the carrier.
Split Shipments
Orders containing multiple items may be shipped separately. This may occur due to inventory availability, warehouse location, or operational efficiency. Customers will receive separate tracking numbers where applicable.
Delivery Delays
Actxa shall not be liable for delays caused by:
- customs clearance
- import inspections
- weather conditions
- courier operational delays
- regional restrictions
- force majeure events
Delivery timelines provided are estimates only and do not constitute guaranteed delivery dates.
Lost, Damage, or Missing Shipments
Customers must notify Actxa within seven (7) days of delivery if the shipment is lost, damaged, or incomplete. Supporting documentation may be required, including photographs of packaging, product condition, and shipping label.
Actxa reserves the right to investigate claims with the courier prior to issuing replacements or refunds.
Warranty Shipping
Where a product is determined by Actxa to be defective and covered under warranty, Actxa may, at its sole discretion, repair, replace, or exchange the product. Warranty service may be provided through shipment of a replacement unit, repair service, or return-and-replace process.
If a replacement unit is provided, Actxa may ship the replacement product prior to receiving the defective unit. In such cases, customers may be required to return the original product within a specified timeframe. Failure to return the defective product within the required timeframe may result in charges equivalent to the replacement product value.
Warranty replacements may be shipped from Singapore or regional fulfilment centres depending on availability. Delivery timelines for warranty replacements may differ from original order delivery timelines.
Unless otherwise required by local law:
- Actxa will cover outbound shipping cost for warranty replacements
- Customers are responsible for return shipping of defective unit
- Actxa may provide prepaid label at its discretion
- Customs duties may apply depending on destination country
Replacement units may be declared as warranty replacements with reduced commercial value where permitted by law. However, Actxa cannot guarantee exemption from customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by local authorities.
Replacement products will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or a minimum of ninety (90) days, whichever is longer.
Return Shipping
Where a return is approved for reasons other than product defect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Returned items must be shipped using a trackable shipping method. Actxa recommends customers insure return shipments for the full product value.
Actxa shall not be responsible for loss or damage occurring during return transit. Risk of loss remains with the customer until the returned product is received by Actxa.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless:
- incorrect product shipped
- defective product received
- shipment damaged in transit
- order cancelled before dispatch
Where free return shipping is provided, Actxa reserves the right to deduct return shipping costs if the returned product does not meet eligibility requirements.
Returns must be shipped within the approved return window. Returns received outside the approved window may be rejected.
Returned products must:
- be in original condition
- include original packaging
- include accessories and documentation
- show no signs of wear or damage
Actxa reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet eligibility criteria.
Return Period by Region
Return eligibility depends on the delivery destination and applicable consumer protection regulations.
For orders delivered to the United States, United Kingdom, and European Economic Area (EEA), customers may request a return within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of delivery. This extended return period is provided as a commercial return policy and is separate from statutory rights that may apply under local law.
For orders delivered to all other regions, including Asia Pacific markets, customers may request a return within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of delivery.
The return request must be submitted within the applicable return window. Requests submitted outside the applicable return period may be rejected.
Statutory Consumer Rights (EU/UK)
Customers located in the European Union and United Kingdom may have statutory rights allowing withdrawal from online purchases within fourteen (14) days without providing a reason. Where applicable, such statutory rights will apply in addition to Actxa’s commercial return policy.
Where local consumer law provides longer return periods or additional protections, such rights shall prevail over this policy.
Return Window Clarification
The return period begins:
- on the date the product is delivered, or
- when the customer takes possession of the product, or
- when the final item in a multi-shipment order is delivered
Return shipping must be initiated within the approved return window. Failure to ship within the approved period may result in rejection.
Exchange Shipping
Exchanges may be offered for size changes, product variants, or replacements subject to availability. Exchange requests must be submitted within the applicable return period.
For exchanges not related to defects:
- customer is responsible for return shipping
- Actxa will ship replacement after inspection
- shipping fees for replacement may apply
- customs duties may apply to replacement shipment
For exchanges due to product defect:
- Actxa will cover outbound shipping
- prepaid return label may be provided
- replacement shipped after approval
- customs handling depends on destination
Actxa reserves the right to process exchanges as return-and-repurchase where direct exchange is not operationally feasible.
Where inventory is unavailable, Actxa may:
- issue refund
- provide alternative product
- place exchange on backorder
Exchange shipments are treated as new shipments and may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or clearance fees depending on destination country.
Refused Shipment
If a shipment is refused by the customer, including refusal due to customs duties, taxes, or import charges, the shipment may be returned to Actxa. In such cases, original shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping costs may be deducted from any applicable refund.
Refunds will only be processed after the returned item is received and inspected.
Actxa reserves the right to investigate claims with the courier prior to issuing replacements or refunds.
Regional Fulfilment
Actxa may ship products from Singapore or from regional fulfilment partners. The shipping origin may vary based on operational considerations. This allows Actxa to optimize delivery timelines and inventory availability.
Local Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits or excludes any mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. Where local law provides additional rights or obligations, such laws shall prevail.
